Anthony Westreich

Anthony Westreich is President and Chief Executive Officer of Monday Properties.

Anthony Westreich established Monday Properties in 2004, when he acquired 100 percent of New York City-based Max Capital Management Corporation and its 4 million square foot portfolio. As president of Max Capital from 2002 through 2004, he directed asset management, property management, construction management, leasing, and development. Since becoming the firm’s president and subsequently rebranding it as Monday Properties, Mr. Westreich has built an organization committed to sound investment practices and uncompromising professional standards.

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Westreich leads all of the firm’s business activities with particular involvement in capital transactions and major leasing. Under his leadership, the firm has transacted $7.8 billion worth of real estate on 27 transactions representing 17.5 million square feet and has leased over 6.0 million square feet.

Prior to founding Monday Properties, Mr. Westreich was a partner at Westfield Realty, Inc., one of Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate ownership firms. Responsible for managing Westfield Realty’s operations, he oversaw more than three million square feet of office space in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area. While at Westfield Realty, Mr. Westreich also formed a joint venture with Eakin/Youngentob Associates, a leading Washington, D.C. home builder. The partnership has since developed more than 3,000 homes in 25 townhouse and condominium communities.

Mr. Westreich serves on the board of both the Grand Central Partnership and the Lincoln Center Real Estate and Construction Council as well as is a governor of the Real Estate Board of New York. Mr. Westreich is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.

In addition to leading the firm overall, Mr. Westreich’s primary focus is in the areas of investment strategy, capital transactions and leasing.
